Thor en otras publicaciones pero hoy os queremos mostrar cualidades de este
material a través de estas tablas de Pierre Du Thor con acabado apomazado.
La Pierre Du Thore se trata de una arenisca de color beige
claro, de gran dureza gracias a sus componentes calizos. Cuenta con un tamaño
de grano fino de estructura masiva, con estratificación cruzada muy gruesa y
difusa y tiene ausencia de poros visibles o fisuras.

last posts but we would want to show you qualities of this material with these
Pierre Du Thor slabs with honed finish.
Pierre Du
Thor is a light beige sandstone with high hardness because its limestone
components. It has a small grain and a massive structure and it hasn’t visible
pores or fissures.

Con el acabado apomazado se consiguen superficies lisas,
planas y mates y sin ninguna marca visible. No obstante podéis ver que se
siguen apreciando los movimientos característicos de la piedra.
A honed finish makes the stone smooth, flat and dull and without any visible marking. Anyway, you can see that the characteristics movements of the stone are still perceptible.
