MOON GREY COUNTER

Aunque ya os hemos hablado de la última edición de Marmomacc y de lo que presentamos allí, hoy queremos dedicar la publicación a una de las novedades de este año; el mostrador. Este septiembre, estrenamos un nuevo mostrador para las ferias que, como no podía ser de otra forma, está hecho con Moon Grey. Aparte de esto, cabe destacar su diseño y el juego de distintos acabados que presenta.

En cuanto al diseño, se quieren representar dos bloques de diferentes tamaños combinados entre sí. No obstante, como es de esperar, se tratan de piezas vacías, lo que da ligereza y espacio al mostrador. Otra particularidad son las letras en relieve, las cuales se han conseguido rebajando la pieza.

Referente a los acabados, podemos contar hasta cinco tipos de superficie. En primer lugar, todas las caras del “cubo” pequeño y un lateral del de mayor tamaño están en corte de cantería. Centrándonos en el “bloque” principal, el frontal ha sido acabado en apomazado light y el lateral restante, en envejecido D (cepillado claro). La franja inferior tiene un acabado verrugo y la parte superior (donde nos apoyamos) están pulidas.

Although we have already spoken about the last edition of Marmomacc and what we introduced there, today we want to dedicate the post to one of the novelties of this year; the counter. Last September we showed our new counter for the fairs, which (as could not be otherwise) is made of Moon Grey. Apart of this, we may highlight its design and the play of finishes that it presents.

Regarding the design, we want to represent two different sizes blocks placed into each other. Nevertheless, as might be expected, they are empty pieces, which gives lightness and space to the counter. Another particularity are the letters in relief, which have been got by reducing the rest of the stone.

In respect of the finishes, we can count up to five kinds of surface. Firstly, all the faces of the small “cube” and one side of the big one are in “cutstone”. Focusing on the main “block”, the front has been finished in light honed and the other side in aged D (light brushed). The lower band has been split and the upper parts (on which we lean) are polished.

A really accurate work that has been really successful in our stand!
