UN POCO DE HISTORIA PARA TERMINAR LA SEMANA.
Es el oficio más antiguo del mundo, el de cantero. Desde el Homo Sapiens, pasando por el Antiguo Egipto o en el mundo griego y romano, donde aparecen los primeros cementaerius. Los canteros medievales trabajaban preferentemente con herramientas de mango largo y menos con cinceles y martillos.
Es larga y dilatada la historia de este noble oficio; los canteros han sobrevivido los anales de la história y han perdurado hasta día de hoy; no fácil teniendo en cuenta que con la aparición del cemento y el hierro, el oficio inició un rápido declive.
